About us

IR35 Accountants provides specialist IR35 and off-payroll accountancy for contractors, agencies and end clients across the UK. Accountancy services are provided by Tidy Money Ltd, an ACCA-regulated practice, and every engagement starts with a fixed written quote.

What we do

Off-payroll working is a specialism. The status tests are case law, the compliance regime changed twice in April 2026 alone, and the cost of getting it wrong lands years later with interest. Most contractors do not need a bigger accountancy firm; they need one that treats status as a live accounting matter.

We review contracts clause by clause, prepare representations in status disagreements, respond to HMRC status enquiries, run outside-IR35 limited company accounting, audit umbrella payslips, and handle solvent closures. When you submit the form we come back within 48 hours with a fixed written quote, and nothing starts until you accept it.

Who you are dealing with

Accountancy services on this site are provided by Tidy Money Ltd, the practice of Preetesh Parmar, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. A named person, a real regulated firm, and a website you can check at tidymoney.com before you get in touch.

The practice is based in Stanmore HA7 and has run entirely on cloud accounting software since 2009, so location is no barrier: clients across the UK work with us without a face-to-face meeting. Contractors sit among the practice's core client types, alongside small companies and landlords.

How we work

A named, regulated accountant

The work is led by Preetesh Parmar FCCA, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and owner of Tidy Money Ltd. You can verify the practice independently at tidymoney.com before you send a single figure.

Fixed written quotes

Every engagement starts with a fixed written quote based on what you need. The price we quote is the price you pay, and you are under no obligation to proceed.

Live cloud accounting

The practice has run clients on live cloud accounting since 2009 and is a FreeAgent Gold Partner, so records stay current through the year rather than being reconstructed at year end.

Contractor work is routine

Contractors are among the client types the practice serves, and IR35 contract reviews, status disagreements and the company accounting that sits around them are work we take on daily through this site.

How an engagement works

The form takes about two minutes: your name, contact details, and a sketch of what you need. No payment details and no sensitive figures at this stage. We come back within 48 hours with a fixed written quote based on the work involved, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

Once you accept, we gather what we need over secure cloud software and do the work, whether that is a written status opinion, a drafted representation, an HMRC response or a full accounting year. You are under no obligation at any point before you accept the quote.

How the guides are written

The guides library is researched and maintained by the IR35 Accountants editorial team, working from primary sources: the legislation, HMRC guidance and manuals, and tribunal and court decisions. Every guide carries a last-reviewed date and is updated when the rules move, as they did substantially on 6 April 2026.

The guides are general information, not advice. Tax outcomes turn on individual facts, and the right next step for anything consequential is a conversation about your specific circumstances. Ask us for a fixed quote.

What we do not do

We do not operate or recommend umbrella companies. We do not handle tax tribunal advocacy or employment law disputes ourselves, and we will say so rather than stretch if your matter needs a barrister or a solicitor. Nothing on this site is advice for your specific circumstances until an engagement is in place.
